Signing Up on Kele as a Merchant

How to create a Merchant Account on the Kele app.

The Kele Merchant app is a general-purpose e-wallet app designed for retail agents and merchants. It enables various kinds of transactions such as completing P2P transfers, POS withdrawals, staking betting codes, completing airtime/data/utility bill payments, cash in/cash out, and much more.

To create an account on Kele, you need to download the Kele app from the Kele website, Google Play Store or the iOS store.
  1.  Once you’ve downloaded the app, click on “Sign Up”.
  2.  Type in your valid phone number and referral code (this is optional) if you have one.
  3.  Once you click “Continue”, you will be sent a verification code.
  4.  Enter the 6-digit verification code. (If the code isn't delivered within the timeframe, click on "Verify via Phone call")
  5.  Enter your preferred email address.
  6.  Creates and confirm your password (make sure it is easy to remember by you but difficult for anyone else to guess). The Password must contain alphabet, numbers, character, capital letter and must be a minimum of 8 characters long.
  7.  Set your transaction PIN (must be 4 digits)
  8.  You will be prompted to set up biometric login (i.e. Facial recognition Login, Fingerprint Login, etc.) — you can skip this if you are satisfied with Password login.
  9.  Your Kele Merchant profile has now been created successfully!



You've now been registered as a Merchant on the Kele platform! You now have to upgrade your KYC Tier on the app in order to enjoy high transaction limits on the app and other amazing benefits! If you wish to increase your KYC Tier, you can begin the upgrade progress at this stage.

Note: After your profile creation process, you cannot access the app's homepage yet until you upgrade to a minimum of KYC Tier 1.
