How to Upgrade your KYC Tier on Kele as a Customer

How to Reset Your Transaction PIN as a Merchant

If you’ve forgotten your PIN, follow these steps to reset it:

- Forgot PIN Option
  1. Open the app and select the ‘Forgot PIN’ option.
- Receive OTP
  1. The app will send a One-Time Password (OTP) to your registered phone number to confirm your identity.      
  2. You can use the Voice OTP option if you do not receive the OTP via text message.
- Voice OTP Details:
  1. The OTP text message will trigger a countdown timer of 1 minute and 30 seconds.
  2. After the countdown ends, the Voice OTP button will appear.
  3. Click the “Try Voice OTP or Call Me” button once the timer is up.
  4. You will receive a call with the OTP. Input this OTP into the app.
- Enter OTP
  1. Enter the 6-digit OTP you received. The app will validate it
If correct, Proceed to the next step.
If incorrect, The app will prompt you to try again.

- Set New PIN
  1. After entering the correct OTP, the app will prompt you to enter a new PIN.
- Confirm New PIN
  1. Re-enter the new PIN to confirm it. Ensure both entries match.
- Confirmation
  1. If both entries match, You will receive confirmation that your PIN has been successfully reset.
  2. If entries do not match, An error message will appear. You will need to re-enter the new PIN.
- PIN Usability
  1. The new PIN will be available immediately for conducting transactions.
