How to Upgrade your KYC Tier as a Customer

Upgrading Your Account to Tier 1, Tier 2, or Tier 3

You can upgrade your account through different tiers to access enhanced features and higher limits. Follow the steps below to upgrade from Tier 1 to Tier 3 and understand each tier's associated limits and benefits.


Upgrade to Tier 1

To upgrade to a Tier 1 account and access the app home page, follow these steps:

  1.  Select Verification Method
            To proceed with your verification, select either BVN (Bank Verification Number) or NIN (National Identification Number).
Note: We need to validate your BVN or NIN to be sure that no one is pretending to be you.
  1. Input Your BVN or NIN.
  2. Pass the Liveness Check: Complete a liveness check where your selfie will be compared with your BVN image.
  3. Enter Address Details: Provide your address details (House Number, Street Name, Area, LGA, State).
  4. Review and Confirm: Check the accuracy of the information you've provided.
  5. Once you've confirmed, your account number will be generated, and you'll be a verified Tier 1 user on our platform.
  6. Next Steps: Proceed to the app home page or upgrade to Tier 2.
      You can check the progress of your KYC and review the requirements for the remaining tiers.

Tier 1 Benefits
Maximum single deposit: ₦50,000  ||  Daily transaction limit (outflow): ₦50,000  ||  Maximum cumulative balance: ₦300,000




Upgrade to Tier 2

To upgrade to a Tier 2 account and access additional benefits, follow these steps:

  • If you selected "BVN" earlier at the Tier 1 upgrade stage, you must provide your NIN for additional verification.
  • Enter your National Identification Number.
  • We will verify your NIN for authenticity using the secure service of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).
If your NIN passes the authentication, you may proceed with the steps below.
  • Provide Next of Kin information (First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, Relationship, Address, State of Origin, LGA of Origin).
  • Click "Submit" to complete the upgrade to Tier 2. 🎉 
  • You can now choose to return to the home page or continue to upgrade to Tier 3.
Tier 2 Benefits
Maximum single deposit: ₦200,000  ||  Daily transaction limit (outflow): ₦200,000  ||  Maximum cumulative balance: ₦500,000




Upgrade to Tier 3

To upgrade to a Tier 3 account and enjoy maximum benefits, follow these steps:
  1. Click on the upgrade button for Tier 3 or Click on "Profile" and select "Account Limits" and then click on "Upgrade to Tier 3".
      You will need to choose between these two options: Proof Available or No Proof Available.
Note: Click on "Proof Available" if you have a valid document that has your current address on it.

Here's a list of valid Proof of Address documents that we accept on our platform. It must be at least 3 months old:
  1. Utility Bill, i.e. Water, Waste & Electricity Bill, TV, etc.
  2. Tenancy Agreement 
  3. Land Use Charge
  4. Tax Clearance
  5. Bank Account statement.
If you do not have any valid document that has your current address, please click on "No Proof Available" so that we can use your geo-location to get your address.

Upload one of the following documents listed above.
  • Upload Document: Add the proof of address image.
  • Click "Continue."
  • Review the indemnity document, agree to the terms, and click "Submit."
  • You will see a message indicating that the document is undergoing manual review.
  • (Please note that KYC reviews generally take up to 3 working hours to be fully verified.)
No Proof Available
  1. Click on "No Proof Available"
  2. Opt for geo-location verification.
  3. Complete Okhi Process: The Okhi interface will pop up. Follow the prompts to complete the process. Make sure you grant access to the location-sharing requests.
  4. Ongoing Verification: You will see a message indicating that address verification is ongoing.
  5. (Please note that KYC reviews generally take up to 3 working days to be fully verified.)
Tier 3 Benefits
Maximum single deposit: Unlimited  ||  Daily transaction limit (outflow): ₦3,000,000  ||  Maximum cumulative balance: Unlimited



Please note:

— Always ensure that you upload a clear picture of yourself or a document whenever you are requested to upload it on the app.
— Always ensure that your document is legible and readable to the naked eye.
— Remember that all manual reviews for Tier 3 can sometimes take up to 3 working days.
— Make sure that your documents are not expired or unlicensed.
