How to upgrade to Business Account (for merchants)
Upgrading from Tier 3 to Business Account
Please follow these instructions if you are a Tier 3 Merchant and wish to upgrade to the 'Business Account' level. This upgrade will change your account from displaying your full name to your Business Name.
Prerequisites for Upgrade
To upgrade from Tier 3 to a Business Account, you need to provide the following documentation:
- Government-Issued ID: A valid government-issued identification document for verification purposes.
- Valid Utility Bill: A valid government-issued identification document for verification purposes.
- BVN (Bank Verification Number): A valid government-issued identification document for verification purposes.
Submission Process
You can submit the required documents through one of the following methods:
- Preferred Method: Upload the documents directly through our app.
- Alternative Method: Email the documents to compliance@boldbank.ng
Next Steps
- Review by Compliance Team: After you have submitted the documentation, our compliance team will review it.
- Account Upgrade: If everything is in order, we will proceed with upgrading your account to a Business Account.
